What is Inbound Marketing?
Inbound marketing is a technique for drawing customers to products and services via content marketing, social media marketing, search engine optimization, and branding.
Inbound marketing is the process which includes customer retention apart from customer acquisition.
The agenda behind Inbound Marketing is to get the Customers turned into Consumers and so the above path is been taken into serious consideration.
Steps Taken while Performing Inbound Marketing:
Attract: This is the first step to the customer or rather the first approach to the customer done where the business tends to allure the customer for the product. They include strangers and they convert to visitors of the business website.
Convert: Now this is the second stage where the customer performs an action after visiting the website or knowing about the business. So, they take actions like Form filling, CTA, Landing Page Engagement
Close: This is the third stage where there are follow-up emails and workflows are been designed and the CRM department takes care of the customer and makes sure that the services provided are according to their satisfaction.
Delight: This is the last stage or I would say the most important part of any business because it is easy to get hold of the customer for once but it is very difficult to maintain the customer satisfaction level.
Here, at this stage, different programs like loyalty programs, social monitoring, communication via the latest offers are provided to the customers so that the customer can also feel their importance for the businesses thus converting themselves from Customer to Consumer of the Brand or the Services.
